Tree Topping & Pruning Service

As the seasons roll around your trees are still growing and sometimes in need of Pruning or topping.
Keeping your trees healthy and while still controlling their growth it keeps them vigorous and a compliment to your neighborhood. Having scheduled maintenance is a great way to do this. River Tree Service specializes in this service with a semiannual service. Once before the Hurricane season starts and six months later to keep those trees in shape. 
As a homeowner and River Tree Service cannot predict the future but it would be best for you to consider this service at an extended low rate.

What WE Do At Riverview Tree Service When Pruning and Topping

1. Our aborist estimator will begin with a visual inspection at the top of the tree and work downward using The one third and one quarter Rules of Pruning.
2. We suggest to not remove more than one quarter of a tree’s crown in a season
3. Main side branches should be at least one third smaller than the diameter of the trunk.
4. For most deciduous (broadleaf) trees, don’t prune up from the bottom any more than one third of the tree’s total height. 
5. Where possible, we will trim side branches that form angles that are one third off vertical that form “10 o’clock” or “2 o’clock” angles with the trunk.
